How to Get Targeted Facebook Traffic Free

Give you an seo boost due to the traffic & the social signals
If you already have strong offers and good content on your website, this method can also:

Get you repeat business
Increase your leads
Have an even larger Seo Impact
Boost Your ROI
I don’t want to sound like your strict old school teacher but, pay attention. I will cut to the chase and take you through the basic steps. When your finished reading this you will understand how to do this right. You will also learn how to do this wrong. Obviously, you will choose the former. J
There is a learning curve. As I started perusing this strategy I made some m mistakes. I am sad to admit. As I am writing this today, I am a Facebook convict. By that I mean, I am in what’s called FB jail, I am currently waiting for release on March. 2, it is February 25th now.
I have used my time wisely and built content, blog posts, twitter followers, Pinterest and Tumblr followers, backlinks and seo to my web properties. These will be explained in future posts and much more.
Here are the Steps to Getting Facebook Traffic the Right Way
Go on Facebook and join groups targeted to your niche, related groups, and free advertising groups. Try to find either:
Large groups you can advertise on easily that will send good traffic.
Or FB groups tightly related to your niche. Some of these might be small but if you can see that they interact and not just advertise this is also good.
Join 40 to 50 Groups over time you can build these up. Search Facebook. Go to the top under the Groups link hit that and it will show you lists of groups. Send requests to join.
For The Free Advertising groups and groups that aren’t called free advertising but groups in your market that you see consistently being advertised to many times per hour with very little engagement. You can advertise to these daily. Get a list of these. They will really help you.
For groups that have less followers but more engagement. Don’t overlook these but be careful about advertising. Some of these groups don’t allow it at all. For these groups it’s better to engage, ask questions and answer questions build connections and sometimes these will send more traffic usually a better quality traffic that can lead into long term sales.
Warning – Don’t post ads to any groups that don’t allow it they can report or ban you. Just check the group out before posting and make sure.
Instead of Advertising Write Helpful Posts
Write helpful posts on your blog and post them to your Facebook Groups. This brings much more traffic and many more people will reach out to you if you do it. What would you rather click, an ad or something that will help solve a problem? Tutorials and helpful posts get better results. Mix in your ads also. Share and engage in the community. Your groups are a community that consist of people. Treat them as such. You will be rewarded.
Let’s Save Lots of Time & Do This Efficiently
You have only 2 resources in life. Time and money. This is a free method we saved on one. Now let’s minimize the time to a fraction of what this would normally take. How you might wonder?
First we are going to save your groups to your bookmarks menu. Open your browser and create folders in your bookmarks menu.
Organize these folders into the groups you can advertise to daily and the ones you can’t. Treat both groups accordingly while you are posting.
When you are about to post open up the ”Book Marks Manager” It’s called in Chrome and I am sure all browsers have something similar. If not, use Chrome.
Open the Book Marks Manager Open the folder you wish to promote and all of the folder will open in separate tabs on your browser. Now make sure you have your message ready in the text editor or word processor and paste into tab 1 of your Facebook Groups. Post the message and close the tab. Go to tab 2 and repeat. Do this with all tabs.
Don’t save more than 10 tabs per folder. Take a break for an hour or two and do this again with the next folder. Always take a break of at least a half hour to an hour in between folders. Remember no more than 10 FB groups saved to each folder.
Don’t post to more than 50 groups per day. Otherwise you risk going to Facebook Jail. You will not be able to post in groups for a week two or longer. Worst case scenario you will get banned. That is reserved most of the time for repeat offenders.
For those of you who like video, my good friend Freddy Gandarilla did a great job explaining this process by video. Bookmark this page anytime you need the detail in writing and a link to the video. For fast visual reference I have added an infographic at the bottom of the page.
Another way to do this fast without saving these into groups, not as the method above but faster than how most people post to groups. On Facebook go to your groups list. Right click on a group you want to post on and choose “open in a new tab.” Go to next group and do the same thing. Open up to 10 of these groups. Have Notepad or Word or any other word processor or text editor ready. Paste message into first group. Post the message. Close the tab. Go to next tab and repeat until all 10 are completed. Break for an hour, do another 10.
Eventually if your content is good you will get traffic sales, leads, repeat customers. More exposure. You will start getting friends request from people. So on and so forth.
The Wrong Way of Doing This
Posting to too many groups too fast. FB can jail you for that. Only 10 groups at a time. Wait an hour. No more than 50 posts per day.
Posting to Groups that don’t allow posting ads. They can report you so take a look at them first and make sure. Some groups don’t allow advertising. Some groups will only let you post one product or article once. Be careful.
It’s usually pretty easy to spot the groups that let you post multiple times daily. They are getting hit with a lot of ads. These are the safest ones to post to and if your helpful with great content you can gain from these groups. Advertise sometimes and post good content sometimes.
Having poor content. Bad content won’t win anybody over.
That’s how to take advantage of free targeted traffic from Facebook groups. It’s simple free, effective. Start now while this is still free.

How to Explode Your Twitter Followers in 5 Easy Steps
This is a great way to naturally build up your Twitter followers. Best part is. It works. It helps with seo. It will get free targeted traffic, leads & if used properly can bring in sales. But, as you know I am not one to load my blogs with fluff, so let’s get down to business. Here the five steps.
Step One: Search Twitter For Authorities In Your Niche & Influencers
This is really easy to do. Write out a list of 5 to 10 authorities in your industry. Find them on Twitter. Click on the link in their profile that brings you to their followers.
Step Two – Follow the authorities in your niche’ followers
Those followers are already really interested in your topic = targeted followers. Twitter has a daily following limit of 1000 technically.
Step Three – Follow 200 to 300 of their followers
They are known to freeze people from following at 200 to 300 followers though. These targeted followers will start following you back. Some of them will. Give them a reason too by having Tweeted and re-tweeted good content. These targeted followers = targeted traffic to your webpages and offers. The more followers you get the closer you can start working towards the 1000 per day following limit. As you increase the amount of people you follow your followers will increase.
Step Four – Engage in The Community
Retweet some of your follower’s posts. Like their Tweets. Message them. Thank them or return the favor if they share or like your Tweets. Become involved this will help build you up & increases followers over time.
Step Five – Rinse & Repeat Daily as Needed
As you start off following 200 – 300 per day. Building your posts and your involvement. Eventually you can move those follows higher. I have a fairly large Twitter list. I aim for about 600 per day and stay far beneath the 1000 per day limit.
Put these simple and free steps into action and grow your Twitter list and internet marketing presence while this works and is still free. Bookmark this page as a resource to come back to when needed. Check out my infographic below for a quick reference as well.

How to Avoid The Google Slap 2018 Part 2
It’s All About The Anchor Text Baby!
Anchor text is heavily integrated in to Google’s search algorithm. It is also accordingly scrutinized. There have been important updates in Google , Recently an updated version of Google Penguin has been rolled out. One of the most important things it ijudges, anchor text spam. Learn how to avoid getting a penalty from Google by learning the factors that Google are looking at when it comes to Anchor text.
In recent months Google has slowed everything down. Indexing has been taking longer. Backlinks have been taking longer to increase rankings. Results seem to take more time I thought. This has been confirmed recently by many of the top Seo teachers and bloggers. Things have changed at Google, in regards to anchor text. Here is the what?, Why? And how to not only move forward, but to capitalize and improve on the new Google updates.
Check this video – The Content really starts at the 2:00 minute mark.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ugkjgz1X8rk
The Old Way of Doing anchor Text & Why It Worked
Up until the recent Google Penguin update. The idea with anchor text, was to dance around your main keyword. Don’t aim for your exact keyword too much. Be liberal with adding in your brand as an anchor, your URL is good to add as an anchor then and now. These strategies were used before and are still good now.
What Google was doing until recently was look at the overall picture of the anchor text on a web page and base the relevancy off of that.
Google didn’t really look at the individual anchor text. They based everything on an overall “snap shot” from the anchor text, of a web page. There is more to how Google assesses content on a web page than this. When it comes to judging anchor text, which is a vital factor for Google in the process of ranking web pages.
Google mainly pulled anchor text and content together to decide what was the most relevant information to rank websites for.
Webmasters danced around the main keyword a lot because the Penguin penalty was very strict and nobody wanted to over optimize their anchor text with their exact match ratios.
Today you might notice, using this strategy some of your rankings are starting to droop a bit. We are not targeting our main keywords very hard. Isn’t this what Google wanted?
How do we improve our rankings now? Increasing the use of the exact match keyword is working again. Not to the point of the pre Penguin days where you could hammer backlinks with the keywords you wanted.
You will be rewarded for increasing your exact match keyword anchor text. Like in the video, Becker uses the exact match combination one third of the time and get’s good results for a very competitive ranking. Check video at 5:15
The other anchor text that is used is very general or it is the URL. So increasing exact match anchor text, while also increasing our general industry anchors and urls is bringing improvements.
Now think about what I said earlier. Increase your exact match keywords a bit, Use a little more general keyword and URL anchors.
Now check out the next part of this video, this time with Greg Morrison. Explaining the update further. Go to 9:30.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YGQCA0Q6V5I
Greg goes on to explain how he “danced around” the keyword anchor text and is shole strategy for backlink anchors from about 10 minutes to 13 minutes. At the 13minute mark he gets into the reason why Google is sticking people who were using anchor text this way on the second page. Another Google “shit test.”
What is Google Looking at Differently Now?
Pay close attention as Greg explains the anchor text he optimized in the middle of 2015. At 14:20 we start getting examples of the anchor text that’s working now.
Greg calls it “string your anchor text together.” We now have seo string theory! J
We can see that the URL links, and general industry anchors mixed in are a big help. The other anchors blend in states, state abbreviations, general industry terms mixed in with other general terms you will want to rank for like, top, service, company. Branded URLS are still useful also. As the video goes forward there are some great explanations as to what the changes are and how to rank now.
Watch Out For Over Optimizing
Watch the video. Seriously, take notes, bookmark it. Rinse and repeat as necessary. Greg Morrison is an expert in the top level of the field. Over optimizing is still a risk now. Google judges it a little differently then they used to.
Keep this in mind. Also if you haven’t seen my previous post How To Avoid The Google Slap in 2016 part 1.
Read it now. Bookmark both part one and this part. Watch the video and keep this anchor text strategy in mind in the future.
Help others by sharing these. Use the strategies in these articles as you carry out your internet marketing campaigns.

How to Avoid the Google Slap in 2018
Google is having an ongoing roll out of its updated Penguin algorithm. It has been on a “soft crusade” penalizing websites and “improving” their results for the searcher.
It helps when getting into seo and ranking your website to understand that Google’s main focus is to deliver the best search results for the public. This is priority number 1. They are constantly working at improving and as a result they have been the biggest giant in the game for a long time now.
“Abandoned” Web Properties & Backlinks are Getting Hit! Plan & Execute Strategic Action
The recent algorithm updates that Penguin is tackling right now is devaluing “abandoned” web properties.
What is an abandoned web property? You might be thinking. An abandoned web property is a property that is created without an owner or a purpose. There is only one purpose and that is to pass link juice to a website or they are used as “buffer sites” in a link wheel on 2nd 3rd tier and beyond.
Have you ever created Web 2.0 blogs with spun articles or otherwise thin content and then had a link wheel created with profile links and spam blog comments going to the second tier? If you are like the majority of webmasters, then you have used this link building strategy.
Take a New Course of Action When Building Backlinks
Remember the old internet marketing saying, “content is king”? This is true. What you want to do here is build web properties that YOU OWN.
How? Build Web 2.0 properties with good and helpful content. Link some of your content to helpful YouTube videos & other authority sites such as Wikipedia. Any dominating website in your niche will be a good resource to link to. Build backlinks to your own websites and offers as well. Write helpful blog posts on your websites blog. Link to these posts from your Web 2.0 blogs.
Don’t turn your Web 2.0 into a personal link farm by writing thin content and linking to yourself like crazy. Write good content link 70% of the time too other people and link back to your websites, blog posts and offers 30% of the time.
Fill out your profiles on these Web 2.0. Make it clear that it is owned by you or your company. Make them helpful and promote them with social media.
The Safest Link Wheel for 2016 – Put on Your White Hat
I recommend. Building your social media presence on Twitter, Facebook, Google +, Pinterest, & Tumblr. Build your following and send links from your social media properties to your content rich Web 2.0. This will drive people and links to these properties.
*** In future posts I will show you how to build your social media following at the above properties ***
What Blog Platforms Should I Build My Web 2.0 Properties On?
There are many to choose from. Some good ones for the sake of having good metrics. High DA (Moz Domain Authority) (this helps with seo). WordPress, Blogger, jimdo.com, Rebel Mouse, Blog.com, Dailystrength.org
These are some good ones. There are many more. Check the DA of the homepage for these websites. The above have a good DA. If you are not sure what I am talking about here. You need to get familiar with this, if you want to peruse internet marketing. Here is a great article explaining the importance of these tools and how to understand them.
http://www.gobloggingtips.com/citation-and-trust-flow-metrics/
Remind Me, How Do I Do This Again?
Post your content on these. Link out to helpful authority sites and videos. Post links back to your blog, website and offers also. Let your social media followers know about these blogs and let them know about the fact that you created helpful content on these blogs. Send them there.
Send your social media followers to your website’s blog when you post on it as well. This will add social signals and bring traffic. You will have interested people coming to read your posts and at the same time you will be building natural “white hat” social media backlinks to your website, blog, Web 2.0 blogs and so forth.
Is There an Easier Way?
Yes, there is a way to automate all of this. This will help save you a ton of time and speed up your marketing effort. It is still “white hat”. Will help you build better and better results over time. For those of you that haven’t heard of IFTTT learn about this tool. It stands for If This Then That. For example, If I create a post on my websites blog, I want to share it on all or some of my Web 2.0. I can create a “recipe” using IFTTT. It can also automate your social media posts as well. You can create an endless combination of “recipes” with this awesome automation tool.
This tool can be used for much more than internet marketing. Help you even track a lost cell phone. Wait a second, how much does an ingenious tool such as this cost. Great news! This tool is free. Check out http://ifttt.com.
Here is a great tutorial I found on YouTube for how to use IFTTT
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CEAVFU3ELcI
Let’s Recap – This Strategy in a Nutshell
1. Change your plan. Stop building “abandoned” Web 2.0 properties. Take ownership of your Web 2.0.
2. Post useful content. Content that helps, provides tips, new ways of thinking, future proofing etc. Post on your website’s blog and use IFTTT to auto post to your web 2.0 at times.
3. Provide links to authority sites on your posts the majority of the time. Sometimes provide links to your blog posts websites and offers.
4. Use social media to drive traffic and “white hat” backlinks to your Web 2.0, Website, your blog, your other social media properties, your web offers etc. This will send real people to your properties as well as backlinks from the top social media properties and Web 2.0.
5. Use IFTTT ‘Recipes’ to help automate all of your strategies. Put it on “auto pilot” as much as possible. This tool is awesome. If you don’t use it now, it’s time to start.
This Is Step Number 1 To Avoid the Google Slap in 2016
Follow the above advice and this will help you to “future proof” your rankings and overall marketing strategy.
This strategy is not a “stand alone” plan. It is a big piece of the puzzle. There are other things to look at. Your other backlinking strategies and other Google ranking factors cannot be covered in one article. Stay tuned for more great tips as I uncover the answers very soon.

Social Media Marketing & Social Signals
I am sure everyone reading this is familiar with all of the large social media platforms on the web. Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Tumblr. There are many more worth looking at as well. These social media giants offer a free arena for you to engage with your audience. Whether they are clients, customers, industry professionals, or anyone else with an interest in your market.
It is very important to get your business profile on these. At bare minimum Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn but I think you should do the above and more. Not that you need to be really active at all of them but as the old cliche goes, “The more you put into it, the more you get out of it”. Google considers social activity when ranking websites, it is part of their ranking algorithm.
What are Social Signals?
Basically it is a term is used to describe the “signals” that Google and other search engines receive when someone posts a comment article, backlink or media on social media platforms. Reach out to your audience, Tweet, Share Like and engage.
Another way to get social signals is to advertise on other peoples accounts. This can be a great way of getting more fans and followers back to your social media accounts and also to your website where they can learn more about your business as well as products or services you offer. The bonus of this is that you are also helping your seo efforts at the same time.
Share and share often. Share great content. Articles and posts, pictures, video, news stories in your industry anything that you consider useful to your audience.
For those who don’t know how to do this there are plenty of guides, books and videos on this subject. Not to mention professional service providers 😉
Using Whitespark Local Citation Finder
You can use Whitespark local citation finder to analyze your competitors local and niche citations. That is mentions of their businesses. Some of the citations will link out to your competitors and some won’t. Building a list of good citations is important. The best method in which to do this is using Whitespark to analyze your top ranking competitors. Then you start submitting your business to the best local directories and platforms that are revealed in the Whitespark report. This list is gold.
Afteyou get this list together and have submitted to the best 60 that your competitors are taking advantage of. Find other decent citations they have missed. You can search Google for lists of citations for free. Everything I mentioned above can be done cheaply or for free.
It takes a little while to learn how to use Whitespark and it is very time consuming to do all of your submissions yourself. 10 to 15 minutes per submission for someone who know what they are doing.
You also need to be very careful. You do not want to mess up your submissions by choosing weak directories or worse by not keeping your information consistent. Google judges this information and it is an important factor for ranking locally.
Either take time to learn how to do this or hire someone that can. Hint hint… 🙂
Create A GMB Page
It is very important to create a GMB (Google My Business)page in local seo. It is crucial for ranking in the Google 3 pack. ( Formerly 7 pack) Also formerly known as Google Places . The name change from the 7 to the 3 pack is simple. Google used to display 7 listings in this property located under Google’s paid advertising (Adwords) and above the organic search results.
Your business will not show up unless you have created your GMB profile. This is very important. I will be discussing this further in the future but for now we will have a brief discussion followed with links to an in depth tutorial on this subject. Things to do when creating your GMB account:
Use images relevant to your business
